Whaddup, Blood?

Thursday was Field Day at Lulu's school. The teachers handed out terrycloth headbands and wrist bands to the kids, color coded to match their teams--red, white or blue. Lulu was on the red team.
The next day, my day off, I had to bring Zeb to the Newark, NJ office where I work to pick up some papers. In Newark, there are a lot of gang members.
I noticed some of Bloods on the street were wearing the same red headbands and wristbands Lulu was sporting on Field Day. They even looked like they were from the same company.
When I told Regis about it, he said: "It's a good thing you didn't bring Lulu in instead of Zeb. She could have gotten whacked by a Crip.''
